The Go Show Gold – Adelaide Friday 29th July 2016

Go!! Show Gold is back again in 2016 with another sensational line-up featuring many of the artists that became household names back in the sixties.



60’s icons Glenn Shorrock and Dinah Lee and are now added to the legendary lineup for GO!! SHOW GOLD at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre THEATRE on Friday 29 July, and replace Max Merritt (& The Meteors) and John Perry (The Vibrants), who have been forced to withdraw due to ill health.

Glenn Shorrock migrated from England to Elizabeth SA with his family and his hugely successful music career kicked off as lead singer with The Twilights, recording contemporary hits – If She Finds Out, Baby Let Me Take You Home, Needle in A Haystack, What’s Wrong With The Way I Live and Cathy Come Home.

NZ Rock Hall of Famer, Dinah Lee, was a star of stage and screen and the ultimate trendsetter in both Australia and New Zealand during the evolution of our Pop decade and her charted hits include Reet Petite and Don’t You Know Yockomo. In 2001, Dinah featured on the Long Way To The Top Sydney concert, TV series and DVD.

Max Merritt has expressed his disappointment at missing this reunion and is following the advice of Los Angeles medical specialists, who have expressed that the long international flight would be detrimental.

The Vibrants will not be appearing as lead singer John Perry is also undergoing urgent medical treatment
