Multi-awarded artist Peter Byrne brings the music of Neil Diamond to the Festival Theatre stage in HOT AUGUST NIGHT, with the 30 piece Crunchy Granola Suite Orchestra, on Wednesday 28 August.
This massive celebration of Neil Diamond’s five decade career includes the performance of the entire classic Hot August Night double album (which was #1 throughout the 70’s in Australia), plus hits from the Grammy awarded Jonathan Livingston Seagull album and Grammy nominated sound track to the film, The Jazz Singer.
Peter is the recipient of 7 ACE and 4 MO Awards and has also received the highest accolade from the legend himself for this production – “Dear Peter, thanks for the great tribute! Neil Diamond”.
HOT AUGUST NIGHT is an annual global and national phenomenon which Peter has performed every August since its UK debut in 1997. He’s made the music his own and attracted standing ovations, along with Best Production awards.
